Stuttgart / Karlsruhe (dpa / lsw) – Amateur football in Baden-Württemberg will stand still due to the coronavirus crisis at least until the end of the year. The Badischer Fußballverband (bfv) and the Württembergischer Fußballverband (wfv) also made the decision to cancel all games for 2020, according to information on Thursday. The background to this is that Chancellor Angela Merkel and the Prime Ministers decided on Wednesday that there would be no easing for sport for the time being. The Südbadischer Fußballverband (SBFV) had already set an early winter break a good two weeks ago. How and from when it will continue in the new year is still unclear.
